Funding for Children
The core of everything we do. KIDS Future Fund contributes donated capital directly into verified investment accounts held in children's names. These are real investment accounts β not savings accounts, not gift cards, not vouchers β real market exposure that begins compounding from day one.
50% of every donation received goes directly to funding children's accounts. An additional 35% is invested into our shared ETF growth fund β a low-cost, diversified portfolio designed to grow alongside enrolled children over time.
Qualifying Account Types
A standard brokerage account opened in a child's name with a parent or guardian as custodian. Transfers to the child at age of majority.
Uniform Transfer to Minors Act accounts allow gifting of investment assets to minors. Assets transfer automatically at the age defined by state law.
A legally established trust that holds assets for a child's benefit. Offers more control over distribution terms and conditions.
Select "Not Sure" on the enrollment form and our team will guide you through the options. We are here to help β not to pressure.
for Children & Families
Capital without knowledge produces poor outcomes. Every enrolled family receives access to financial literacy resources that explain how investing works, what compound interest means, and how to build lifelong money habits β in language anyone can understand.
Age-appropriate resources that introduce children to the concepts of saving, ownership, and investing. Designed to be engaging and understandable for young learners.
All AgesPlain-English investing guides for parents β covering custodial accounts, compound interest, ETFs, and how to talk to your children about money and ownership.
For FamiliesVisual, easy-to-follow examples of how compound interest works over 5, 10, and 18 years. Real numbers that illustrate why starting early changes everything.
Core ConceptResources focused on the long-term mindset β teaching families and children why staying invested, avoiding emotional decisions, and thinking in decades produces the best outcomes.
MindsetStep-by-step explanations of what UTMA, UGMA, custodial, and trust accounts are β and how each one works in the context of the KIDS Future Fund program.
Program SpecificDedicated financial literacy content for military and veteran families β including service-specific financial considerations, VA benefit awareness, and program guidance.
Military FocusAccount Verification &
Fund Disbursement
Before any donated funds are released to a child's account, KIDS Future Fund conducts a thorough verification process. This protects donors, enrolled families, and the integrity of the program β ensuring every dollar reaches its intended destination.
We confirm the child exists and is eligible for the program. Children of disabled veterans and fallen service members receive priority processing.
We verify that the submitted investment account is legally owned by the enrolling parent or guardian and that the child is the named beneficiary.
We confirm the account is a qualifying investment vehicle β not a savings account or checking account β to ensure funds are positioned for long-term growth.
Applications are reviewed for accuracy and completeness. Duplicate, fraudulent, or incomplete submissions are flagged and investigated before any funding is released.
Once verified, donated capital is contributed to the child's investment account. Families receive confirmation and the account begins compounding immediately.
All fund disbursements are subject to board-level financial oversight and reported transparently. The 50/35/15 allocation is applied consistently to every dollar received.
